  • Monitor multiple pump jacks or multiple assets with one AMCi monitoring system

Benefits:

  • Get instant notifications that the pump jack has shutdown unexpectedly
  • Respond quickly to shutdown events to resolve problems and get oil pumping again
  • Accurately report pump jack uptime and demonstrate contract compliance
  • If using portable equipment, and integrated GPS receiver can quickly provide the pump jack location
  • Alarms can be sent via email, text message, or phone call
  • View the status of all equipment from your desktop with AMCi’s SatAlarm-Server host application

From simple On/Off event reporting to complex controller monitoring, AMCi has a solution to meet the customer’s specific needs. Contract AMCi to let us find the best and most cost effective solution for your monitoring requirements.

Digital Thermostats for Refrigeration and Heating Applications

New Digital Thermostats will Improve the Performance of Refrigeration and Heating Applications

West Control Solutions has launched the CAL Thermostats family, a range of easy-to-use temperature thermostats that improve performance and efficiency for food and beverage manufacturers. With a simple user interface, large clear display and a high ingress protection-rated casing, CAL Thermostats offer precision monitoring of temperatures within ovens, fryers, refrigerators and other chillers.

Digital Thermostats with NTC Sensor InputSelf-Tuning Digital Thermostat

The CAL ET2011 digital thermostat is an easily programmable standard thermostat for heating or cooling control, with a 4-digit display. A simple panel clamp enables quick installation and release, while a range of input options for thermocouples or PT100 provides capability to meet a wide range of application requirements. The automatic, ‘self-tuning’ calculation of PID parameters, soft-start functionality and the option for relay or SSR output to be assigned as the main control output all contribute to the flexibility and efficiency of the instrument.

Defrost Thermostats for Compressor Defrost or Fan Control

For refrigeration applications where defrost is required, the CAL EDT defrost thermostats offer different output options for compressor defrost or fan control, up to two NTC thermistor sensor inputs and an option for an external digital input to trigger a defrost event. The devices support different defrost cycles: compressor shutdown, electric or hot gas defrost cycles. Fast set-up is enabled using the “CAL key”, a flash memory key that allows configuration settings to be copied from a master device to any further devices that share the same configuration, saving time and ensuring commissioning or down time is minimised. An RS485 option is available for monitoring and reporting, while a real-time clock for initiating the defrost cycle at a specific time of day.
The CAL thermostat range provides an aesthetically-pleasing design featuring a large display that is ideal for both industrial and non-industrial applications.

West Pro Series Launches in North America | West CS

The new Pro Series from West Control Solutions offers superior temperature control.

West Pro Series of Controllers

The new Pro Series of temperature controllers from West Control Solutions offer customers yet greater precision control in challenging applications.  Key to the enhanced capability of the Pro Series is that all three units in the range – the Pro-4, Pro-8 and Pro-16 – provide two PID sets rather than the one typically found on alternative controllers.  This allows the user to tune for accurate control for a wide range of set points or various products with different thermal characteristics.
The Pro Series controllers offer a high level of I/O, with an unprecedented six outputs available and up to four digital inputs, plus an in-built profiler for a varied setpoint at each process stage.  The Pro Series combines a sophisticated level of control with maximum flexibility, an example being the capability to customize the menus, thus speeding up manual control by making frequently used functions available at a keystroke.  The result is complex temperature control capability that can be accessed easily by any member of the workforce.  Capability and convenience is further enhanced by the configuration and simulation software, BlueControl©, which allows a test configuration to be carried out locally on a PC.
Typical applications that will benefit from these features are; industrial ovens and furnaces, chiller and refrigeration systems and particularly plastics and rubber extrusion applications where processes such as non-linear cooling, heater current input and boost functions are commonly required.
In addition to the I/O provided by the Pro-4 and Pro-8, the Pro-16 comes in a compact 48mm x 48mm design, meeting the need of many applications for compactness and capability in a small, front-of-panel controller.  The Pro-16 is the only temperature controller of its kind to provide so many features in such a compact casing, offering customers a premium product that is powerful yet easy to use.

Nitrex NXK-412 system for nitriding

nitrexALTEST Ltd, who got its start in PVC profiles in 1992 and expanded production in 2010 to include aluminum profiles, added a Nitrex compact nitriding system at its Bulgarian plant to nitride aluminum extrusion dies. The NXK-412 system has a capacity of 880 lbs (400 kg) and is supplied with Nitreg® technology, a neutralizer, and an ammonia purification system.
ALTEST opted for a nitriding system with a higher capacity than their current requirements to keep pace with the company’s expansion plans that will see its extrusion capacity double by next year.
The reasons Nitrex was chosen to implement this project are due to its unique know how and expertise in the field of nitriding extrusion dies, as well as its ability to provide the customer with a local presence in Eastern Europe guaranteeing on-time support.
