Description
The Aquavx™ Pro is a premium remote monitoring device powered by the RemoteIQ Water cloud platform for real-time monitoring and control.
In addition to a sunlight-viewable color display, the system has ten digital inputs, two pulse inputs, two analog inputs, and three outputs. It also includes RS-232 and RS-485 with 16 built-in Modbus Master Registers.
Alarm notifications are sent via voice, text, or email, alerting operators when there is a power failure, limits are exceeded, or communications are lost. Intuitive graphics and dashboards in RemoteIQ™ Water provide real-time insights into the performance of remote sites.
With the Aquavx Pro, there are no networks, engineering, or third-party licenses to maintain. The system has an 18-hour backup battery with the option to increase to 72 hours. Loss of AC detection triggers a switch to the battery with additional outputs available for the sensor loop supply.
This critical municipal well pump station is now running smarter with Aquavx Pro Plus hardware and the RemoteIQ Cloud platform.
The Aquavx Pro/RemoteIQ provides secure, cloud-based remote monitoring and remote pump start/stop control and VFD setpoint adjustments through a Modbus TCP interface to the main Allen-Bradley PLC control unit.
But the real impact for the customer is in the data:
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀
Operator can now track runtime, cycles, flow rates, power usage, and efficiency in real time—empowering predictive maintenance, energy optimization, and long-term asset planning.
𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
Automated reporting tools simplify submission to multiple water authorities, helping the system stay compliant with overlapping regulatory requirements while reducing manual workloads.
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
Immediate alerts for VFD trips, power outages, abnormal flows, and equipment failures—ensuring rapid response and reduced downtime.
𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
By fine-tuning pump performance and controlling flow setpoints with precision, the system helps conserve withdrawals from the critically low Edwards Aquifer—a lifeline for the region that’s under severe stress due to prolonged drought in south central Texas.
𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 & 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲
Built-in data encryption, user access control, and support for multi-site expansion across municipal infrastructure.
