Description
Push Button Start/Internal: The 409B electric handset timer features a Push Button built into its front dial. When pressed, the timer starts and provides an interval time delay. The 409B has a set of DPDT output contacts. The contacts immediately transfer when the Push Button is pressed with power applied. After the timer has timed out, the contacts are released.
Universal Power Supply: All 409B electric handset timers can be powered using 24-240 VAC or 24 VDC power, greatly simplifying ordering and inventory management of replacement units. High Accuracy: The 409B’s timing circuit is not a simple RC circuit. It utilizes a sophisticated proprietary integrated circuit that includes counting technology along with a stable oscillator to provide repeatable time delays for precise electric handset timing.
1/16 DIN Housing: The 48mm2 (1/16 DIN) housing is compact and watertight when panel mounted, making the 409B suitable for various applications as an electric handset timer. It is mounted in an 8-pin round (octal) socket.
With an optional mounting clip, the 409B can be panel mounted. The dial on the 409B is extra large and easy to read, featuring clear indications of fractional ranges with decimal points.
The Range Select Switch is located on the side of the unit, making it tamper-proof when panel mounted; this prevents unauthorized changes to the timing range, ensuring the secure operation of the electric handset timer.
