Description
High-accuracy programmable non-contact slip-free optical encoder
The LP1 Accu-LaserPro is a high-accuracy, programmable, non-contact, slip-free optical speed encoder. The laser-based system achieves a higher measuring accuracy and does not damage the material through mechanical wear, unlike measuring wheels or other mechanical processes. The LP1 is also capable of taking over a trigger function and providing a start pulse, for example, as an output for marking devices as soon as the defined increment value has been reached.
Unlike traditional wheeled or shaft-mounted encoders, the LP1 Accu-LaserPro uses laser-based optical technology to measure speed and distance with no physical contact—eliminating slip, reducing maintenance, and protecting materials from marking or wear.
This technology represents a true leap forward for OEMs and system integrators. With no wheels to replace or mechanical wear points to manage, the LP1 offers reliable, long-life performance while delivering precision accuracy for high-speed operations.
Key Features of the LP1 Accu-LaserPro
• Slip-Free Measurement – Laser optics ensure accurate speed and distance regardless of belt or product slip.
• Programmable Encoder Output – Adjustable A/B output up to 120 pulses/mm.
• Integrated Trigger Outputs – Two freely programmable outputs (push/pull, NPN, PNP) with reversible signal levels.
• Advanced Trigger Capabilities – Trigger and sequential trigger up to 6.5m distance, with trigger block and standstill threshold settings.
• Reverse Lock Function – Maintains channel accuracy even when products temporarily move backwards.
• Flexible Integration – Compact, non-contact design simplifies mounting and protects delicate products.
Applications
The LP1 is engineered for industries where precision, uptime, and product quality are critical—including:
