The MAGNUM series wireless remote is the smallest in our bellypack line. It’s easily handheld, has belt clip or belt strap options available, and has room for up to four dual-axis thumbsticks or six single-axis thumbwheels. A protective lip around the top of the enclosure protects the control surface from accidental operation.

In addition to proportional control, the MAGNUM can fit up to ten toggle switches, E-Stop switches, push buttons, and small displays for real-time machine feedback and control. A tether and charge connector are always available on the side, and side-mounted pushbuttons, if configured, make for easy throttle control.

We configure this system all the time for simple track drive applications using two thumbwheels for skid-steer style driving with a high/low-speed switch that reduces the speed of the joystick outputs for precise maneuvering.

We also offer the MAGNUM with a nice dash-mounting kit for in-cab control applications for wired or wireless use.

The enclosure is polypropylene copolymer, and the electronics are all high-spec SMT: together, these remotes are durable at any temperature – arctic or equatorial.

Twenty hours of actively transmitting operating life is a typical minimum with our internal NiMH batteries, but the MAGNUM has the flexibility to run on four AA batteries or use our lithium polymer packs for increased life.
